Although our story began many years prior, under the leadership of our visionary founder, Mr. Victor Jayamaha, 1952 saw the first company of the Victoria Group; Victoria Motor Stores come into play setting the stage to pioneer the Sri Lankan automotive component industry.

The years that followed saw the Victoria Group setting many milestones in the local and even regional arena. Whilst Victoria Motor Stores pioneered the Sri Lankan automotive spares industry, Ceylon Auto Industries was the first company in Sri Lanka to manufacture automotive Leaf Springs, and also the first company in Sri Lanka to commercially export automotive components.

In addition to this, Ceylon Auto Industries was also the pioneer at the time in South Asia to start a plant for Leaf Springs with Japanese technical collaboration using some of the best state of the art machinery of the time.

As the years went on, the Victoria Group grew from strength to strength under its current Chairman/Managing Director, Mr. Anton Deepthi Jayamaha. Whilst we were also the first in Sri Lanka to manufacture automotive filters (Micro Auto Products), the Group also diversified business interests into plastics, real estate, apparel manufacturing, and fleet management.

At the turn of the millennium however, Mr Anton Deepthi Jayamaha realized the need to focus on and develop Victoria Group's core competencies of automotive component engineering and manufacturing, and thus consolidated the company's business interests into 3 main segments; Automotive Component Manufacturing and Exports (Ceylon Auto Industries), Automotive Component Trading (Victoria Motor Stores), and the Group's real estate investment arm (Victoria Developments).

Today the Victoria Group remains and continues to be Sri Lanka's leading automotive component manufacturing, exporting, and trading pioneer with a strategic customer base spanning Australia, South Asia, and the Middle East with our invaluable team of human resources and ISO 9001:2008 certified manufacturing plant.
